How to make changes to your menu
This is the quickest way to make edits to your menu to be reflected everywhere that Checkle syncs your menu.
When you change your menu in Checkle, it syncs changes in a few different places. These changes are synced to:
Embeds on your business website
65+ platforms that Checkle syncs with
The amount of time it takes to reflect changes you’ve made to your menu depends on the platform.
By clicking on the 3 dots in the Actions column on the main menu page, you can make a few important edits to that specific menu.
These edits include:
Make inactive
This makes your menu invisible to anyone but you. Think of this as a menu in draft that you’re still actively working on.
Copy menu link
The link generated goes to this specific menu and it will not show the other menus you have marked as ‘Active’.
Duplicate
Make an exact copy of a menu. This is used most when wanting to make updates to a menu that will go active in the future.
Move up, to top, down, to bottom
This changes the order your menus are reflected everywhere that your menu exists.
Delete
This is a permanent action.
How to manually make edits to specific sections and items on your structured menu
- Click on the ‘Edit Menu’ button on the main menu screen to go to a specific menu.
- This page now allows editing the items and sections on that specific menu.
- Click the pencil icon beside each attribute you'd like to edit.
Click the purple ‘Save Changes’ button near the top of the screen to save any menu updates you've made. This also makes any changes you’ve made visible to the public.
It is recommended to add item images. These images show up in your Google structured menu, your website’s embed, and on your Checkle.Menu/insert_your_restaurant_name_here link.
